Riverside Grill
Season two with our delicious house brew is underway at the Riverside Grill! Working with our friends at Great Lakes Brewery we created a "Reese Jones Red" and a "Grand Niagara Blonde". Our smooth Red lager is full-bodied with hints of caramel, toasted malts and roasted nuts. Our premium Blonde is the perfect thirst quencher with great flavour and a clean crisp finish. Our brews are multiple award winners including the recent Gold Medal at the Canadian Brewing Awards. If you haven't already, give our house brew a try!

Course Conditions
Most golfers have heard the term 'Poa' when discussing greens at a golf course. The official name is Poa Annua and it's not a grass, but an invasive weed that all Turf Managers struggle with. It is particularly visible in May and September when the plant produces white seed heads. Ironically, the playing surface that Poa produces is second to none. So why not grow and manage Poa? Unfortunately, the negatives outweigh the positives and Poa doesn't perform well in our climate. To help control Poa's invasion we use a new product called Velocity, however it still remains a very tricky issue for all golf courses.

Rules of Golf
The Rules of Golf can be a little confusing but also hilarious depending on the situation. During the World Match Play Championship in Bulgaria last week, Nicolas Colsaerts hit his ball into a small restroom off of the 10th hole and initially was forced to drop the ball in the toilet!

Golf Swing Tip
It is vital to have good posture and balance throughout the entire swing. At address, your spine angle should be straight not hunched or curved and your weight distributed evenly towards the balls of your feet. Ensure your spine angle remains the same from address to finish and maintain good balance throughout. Doing this will have you striking the ball with more consistency!
