Accuracy off the tee is important on the starting hole. A three wood or hybrid is a good play into a favourable landing area. A pond runs up the entire left side of the hole, so favour the right side of the fairway. A deep bunker guards the front left side of the green. Allow yourself enough club into the green to avoid this bunker.
